The blue whale lives in the ocean and eats krill by filtering them through its baleen plates. They are 24-25m long and weigh 50,000-150,000 kg.

Blue whales are threatened by chemical and sound pollution, habitat loss, over-fishing of krill, ship strikes and becoming entangled in fishing gear.
